Wound Care Position Statement

Nurses are accountable to use evidence informed practices, equipment and clinical decision support tools in the prevention and management of wounds. We developed this position statement to communicate the NSCN position on the role of the nurse in the prevention and management of wounds as it relates to the nurse’s scope of practice, the development and maintenance of the nursing care plan and collaboration.
