In Nova Scotia, all LPNs are accountable to practise nursing based on the 2023 Code of Ethics for Licensed Practical Nurses in Canada developed by the Canadian Council for Practical Nurse Regulators. The Code of Ethics is a resource to help you practice ethically and work through ethical challenges that arise in your practice setting with individuals, clients, families, communities, and the health system.
